Corso di Laurea Magistrale in Astrophysics and Space Physics

The Master's Degree in Astrophysics and Space Physics, offered in English and lasting two years, completes the education of graduates with a Bachelor's degree in Physics or Astronomy by expanding and deepening general scientific knowledge and its application to the study of the Universe.
The program includes two specializations: one focused on Astrophysics and Cosmology, and the other on Near-Earth Space.
Thesis preparation activities are carried out within research groups operating in the Department of Physics, at major national organizations involved in or supporting research such as INAF (National Institute for Astrophysics, which merged the old Astronomical Observatories), CNR (National Research Council), INFN (National Institute for Nuclear Physics), PNRA (National Program for Antarctic Research), ASI (Italian Space Agency), or even at industries, particularly those in the space sector, operating in the Milan area.
There are also common collaborations with international research groups and institutions, notably ESO (European Southern Observatory) and ESA (European Space Agency).
