Quality Assurance of Research and Third Mission
The Quality Assurance (QA) system for the Research and Third Mission/Social Impact is described in detail in the section of the University portal dedicated to Quality Assurance. The Department established Groups for Quality Assurance of Research and Third Mission/Social Impact composed as follows:
Group for the Quality Assurance of Research:

Group for the Quality Assurance of the Third Mission/Social Impact:

The Groups are assigned the tasks of monitoring and promoting the quality policy at the Department level by identifying the necessary improvement actions and by verifying their implementation as follows:
Research AQ Group:
• every year prepares the Department's "three-year monitoring plan", accessible through the "Fatti e Persone" portal;
• on the basis of previously defined criteria, distributes the University Funds - Departmental Quota - among the professors and researchers belonging to the Department, in agreement with the current University regulations;
• assists the Director to write the Department Three-Year Plan;
• carries out constant monitoring of the scientific productivity of the Department and of its impact also through bibliometric parameters;
• verifies the scientific activity of post-docs by evaluating their production through bibliometric parameters.
Third Mission/Social Impact AQ Group:
• every year prepares the Department's "three-year monitoring plan", accessible through the "Fatti e Persone" portal;
• assists the Director to write the Department Three-Year Plan;
• verifies the effectiveness success of training initiatives aimed at high school students and teachers and professionals;
• verifies the impact and success of the consultances services by evaluating the amount of services and the corresponding revenues;
• verifies the impact and success of Public Engagement activities by constantly evaluating the number of students enrolled in the Degree Courses, in the third-party and consultancy activities and in the pre-industrial research activities.
