Quality Assurance of the PhD Program
The Quality Assurance (QA) system for the PhD program is described in detail in the section of the University portal dedicated to Quality Assurance.
In line with the actions proposed by the University PhD School, the control and monitoring of the quality of the PhD program are entrusted to the Quality Control Committee to which the following tasks are assigned:
• Writing the planning and organization document for training and research activities
• Preparing the Annual Report
• Monitoring the progress of doctoral students, their opinions on training and research activities, satisfaction at the end of the program, and employment conditions in subsequent years
• Verifying, through periodic meetings with representatives from the labor sector, the consistency between proposed training activities and employment demands. In this regard, the group is called to collaborate with the Social Partners Committee of the PhD, composed of Dr. Luca Malgeri (CERN), Dr. Roberto Salerno (CNRS), and Dr. Gianluca Aranci (THALES ALENIA SPACE ITALIA)
• Contributing to the drafting of the three-year Review
Following these activities, the Quality Control Committee is responsible for defining any corrective actions and proposing them to the PhD Board and the Department for approval and implementation.
