In this seminar I will present an extension of our Next-to-Next-to-Leading Order (NNLO) calculation of the (massless) N-jettiness soft function to processes involving massive quarks in the final state. The calculation employs the recently proposed method that uses the so-called inclusive N-jettiness variable to simplify the computation of the non-iterative contribution to the soft function. This framework enables the fully analytic cancellation of infrared and collinear singularities between the bare soft function and its renormalization matrix. As a result, we obtain a ready-to-implement semi-analytic formula for the renormalized soft function.
