Title: 3d N=4 rank-0 SCFT from Lens space

Abstract: In this talk, I will explain a novel way --- using 3d/3d correspondence --- of realizing (R-twisted) circle compactification of 4d N=2 supersymmetric QFTs that admit class-S construction. This yields a three-manifold via circle fibration over the Riemann surface involved in the class-S. As a concrete example, 4d N=2 (A_1,A_{2n}) Argyres-Douglas theory gives rise to a lens space L(2n+3,2) and we precisely recover the 3d N=4 rank-0 superconformal field theory studied by Gang-Kim-Stubbs, which provides 3d bulk description of boundary M(2n+3,2) minimal model. Note that this is the expected chiral algebra associated to the 4d theory via SCFT/VOA correspondence. This work establishes a close interplay among class-S, class-R, and the SCFT/VOA correspondence.
