Plasma Prometeo

PlasmaPrometeo is a research center co-funded by the University of Milano-Bicocca and Regione Lombardia. It is devoted to studies in the field of plasma (ionized gas) physics, chemistry and technology, with a strong emphasis on technological transfer.

The objectives of the PlasmaPrometeo center are:

  • To create know-how and increase the value of scientific research by developing new technologies in the field of plasmas.
  • To sustain the scientific progress by promoting the technological transfer of new processes and novel methodology to the industry.
  • To build up the synergy between university and industry and to support the competitiveness of companies and the technological development of the country.
  • To form qualified staff for the highly specialized technology sector and to transfer new expertise to industrial companies.
