Abstract: Euclidean wormholes are a puzzling occurrence in AdS/CFT, and have led to the factorization problem. A proposed resolution is to coarse grain or average over the dual CFT. However, in the hallmark examples of AdS/CFT there is a priori no ensemble to average over. In 2022 Schlenker and Witten proposed a resolution based on the idea that heavy observables do not have a well-defined large-N limit and are pseudorandom at finite but large values of N. Using tools from asymptotic representation theory I will present an explicit realization of pseudorandom behavior of heavy OPE coefficients in a sector of symmetric product orbifold CFTs.
