PHYSICAL OPERATOR ALGEBRAS IN TTbar DEFORMATIONS OF CFTs

In this talk, we review a novel approach to the problem of defining physical charged operators in gauge theories. It employs an automorphism mapping the algebra of local charged operators into a (non-local) algebra of physical operators. The automorphism is described by a formally unitary intertwiner, which maps the exact BRST operator of the theory into a simpler one. We apply our method to TTbar deformations of conformal field theories (CFT) and define the cohomology of physical states. The physical fields of the TTbar theory, obtained by dressing primaries of the CFT, are explicitly found and some properties of correlators of physical operators are discussed.
