Abstract

“A full exploitation of the LHC Physics potential in the next 20 years will require a program of precision Physics, especially in absence of smoking-gun signals of Physics Beyond the Standard Model in direct searches.
In this scenario the accuracy of theoretical predictions plays a central role.
I will present theoretical results obtained in this context, both for the computation of specific observables, as well as for the development of state-of-the-art fully-differential event generators. I will also show examples of the impact that phenomenological studies and theoretical ideas can have on experimental searches”.
