Surface Dielectric Barrier Discharge (SDBD) plasma has been coupled with UVC 275 nm and Violet 405 nm light sources to enhanced the production of reactive oxygen and nitrogen (RONS) species and the abetment of harmful microorganism (e.g. bacteria) with the equipment to be carried out in a real environment (e.g. hospital) constituting bioaerosol.
